David Simister picked up the Editor of the Year in the Motoring category at the British Society of
Magazine Editors’ annual awards, held in London on 18 November.
The award judges said: ‘David consistently delivers authoritative, well-research content.
Powered by expert opinion and in-depth specials, Classic Car Weekly proves to be an influential
publication for its audience and beyond.’

Bauer Media Group – which publishes CCW along with our sister magazines, Practical Classics
and Classic Cars – said that the awards were considered ‘the Oscars of the magazine world’.
