The van containing the displays and merchandise from the Hillman Owners’ Club stand was stolen on the closing night of the Classic Motor Show (Sunday, 10 November).

The club’s events and regalia officer, Tom Clark, told CCW: ‘The Hillman Owners’ Club had a fantastic time at the show with many visitors, three new members and good regalia sales. All in all, it was a really enjoyable show and everything was super.

'The van was stolen from the Manor Hotel in Meriden over Sunday night'

‘Unfortunately, we woke up the following morning to find that our van containing all of the club’s stands and regalia had gone. All of the clothing, electronic signs, flag poles and flags. Everything we had on the stand. We had quite an array of regalia, bar badges, sweatshirts, fleeces, T-shirts and all that sort of thing.

‘The van was stolen from the Manor Hotel in Meriden over Sunday night. The hotel has cameras on the rear gate but sadly not on the car park itself. If anyone can help, please keep a look out for any Hillman regalia for sale please let us know.’

The stolen van is a dark blue Ford Transit Custom High-roof, registration number FP64 BGZ. Tom can be contacted via email. Chris Frear
