Show organiser Assignment Media has announced that a new classic car show will take place next autumn at Cheshire Showground in Knutsford, Cheshire. The Great British Car Show will celebrate our nation’s motor manufacturers past and present on
20-21 September.
The show will cater for cars from every era and is an opportunity for clubs and owners to come together for a weekend of cars from UK brands – old and new, standard and special, but always with a British name badge.
There will be a strong emphasis on heritage, however, so a significant proportion of those on display are likely to be classics, from long-lost marques to low-volume brands and the biggest names in the market today.
Assignment Media’s managing director, Sarah Moss, told CCW: ‘After running the Great British Land Rover Show since 2014 we’re delighted to now be expanding our show repertoire with this fantastic new event for 2025. There will be a wide variety of trade stands selling everything from car parts and accessories to outdoor clothing, camping equipment, children’s toys, gifts and more. A real ale bar, a wide variety of food and drink stands as well as a live music line up will complete the package aimed at enthusiasts and families alike.’
Display car and driver passes start from just £7 and car club members can save 50 per cent by emailing enquiries@assignment-media.co.uk to obtain a discount code, which can also be used to book half-price camping pitches. Clubs are invited to contact the organisers directly on the same email address if they would like to share a discount code directly with their members.
Visitor tickets are £16 for the weekend in advance, saving 20 per cent on the gate price. Saturday tickets are £12 and Sunday tickets £8. Under 14s go free.
